initial commit

i have done the initial commit of the refactored source files.

did anybody see the commit msg in the jackrabbit-commits list?
i didn't although i should be subscribed to it.

None of us did -- it must have exceeded the size limit.  The commit
scripts on Apache's subversion install are not as sophisticated as
the ones on cvs.  I'll try to fix that next week if I get a chance.

Meanwhile, thanks for getting the initial commit done!
