Subversion commit problems
Hi developers,
I just wanted to commit the new Russion language files and got the
following error:
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad Request) in response to PROPFIND request for '/repos/asf/!svn/wrk/e644f6cc-750c-8041-944a-d8364bc50380/incubator/jspwiki/branches/JSPWIKI_2_8_BRANCH/etc/i18n/CoreResources_ru.properties'
Any ideas and/or solutions?
Harry, I seem to recall that you had some problems with committing the
Chinese i18n files, too, but couldn't find details anymore.
Regards
Florian

Perhaps it's a EOL problem? I've seen it happen on a couple of
occasions; make sure they're in the native encoding for your platform.

an additional problem seems to be that the files have been attached
directly, without providing a patch.

Yes, please! I'm really curious whether it will work for you. If so,
please tell me the way you managed it.
If not, I guess the next step would be to bug the submitter to provide
the files in the correct patch format.

Florian,
Those problems were related to the content of the files, not related to SVN.
It appeared that it matters how you applied the patch, from a saved file, or
via the clipboard.
Do you want me to try to commit the Russian translation ?

Harry
