server terminates connection during OVER command

Summary: server terminates connection during OVER command
           Product: James
           Version: 1.2
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: NNTPServer & Repository
        AssignedTo: james-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: christian.buchegger@planet-interkom.de

When the execution of an OVER command takes longer than the configured timeout,
then connection is terminated when the timeout trigger is fired, even when the
transmission is still ongoing.

This prevents a slow client from getting all the headers of a large newsgroup.

Using a greater value as timeout was an option in my scenario; but will not be
feasable in production environment.
