    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-2264?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16757864#comment-16757864 ]

Philip Brown commented on DIRSERVER-2264:
-----------------------------------------

hm. actualy, it APPEARS to be there.

I found it under

cn=schema/cn=nis/ou=attributeTypes

However, when I tried to actually USE it, with ldapadd of

dn: nisMapName=netgroup.byhost,dc=xxxx
nismapname: netgroup.byhost
objectClass: top
objectClass: nisMap

I got an error,

Message ID : 14
 Add Request :
Entry
 dn: nisMapName=netgroup.byhost,dc=xxx
 objectClass: top
 objectClass: nisMap
 nismapname: netgroup.byhost
: ERR_13735_ELEMENT_FOR_OID_DOES_NOT_EXIST ATTRIBUTE_TYPE for OID nismapname does not exist!
