TDK on MacOS X: which database?
Hi
I just downloaded TDK 2.1b2 on a MacOS X machine
It installed very easily, it was wonderful!
Now I'd like to try the example provided (newapp). But I guess I'll have
to provide a JDBC-compliant database
Would OpenBase fit the need?
thanks.

Don't know about openbase. Enjoy!

Quit being so lazy and try reading the documentation that comes with the
TDK.

OK
I downloaded mysql-3.23.27-beta-apple-darwin1.2-powerpc.tar.gz from
www.MySQL.com (already compiled, you see how lazy I am?)
./configure and let's rock baby!
The problem is , I have left it aside for a moment and now I don't know
what to do next any more. The "ant" step is already done. I tried
running catalina.sh but it lacked the database settings, so I could see
the pages but not use newapp.
How do I set the database parameters? Do I have to edit
TurbineResources.properties?
BTW, do I have to create a database or add a user/password to MySQL to
have it working?
Thanks for your help.
