Introductions and Interest in Translating

Hello, my name is Joshua Kenny. I am 14 years old and I live in Indonesia. I'm a Secondary 4 (Senior High) student and I believe that I am able to translate for Indonesian. Based on your information in this site, I would like to help translate the remaining UI into Indonesian. Although this is my first try, I believe it shouldn't cause me trouble. I would like to ask how to translate the remaining 2% of the UI since it would be a pity if it isn't finished. Could you kindly offer me some help (procedures) to finish it? This is my first time to transIate, but I am not familiar with the procedures. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi! There are two easy steps:

1) Add a comment to https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122383 
(you may need to register, same page) stating:
- your name
- that your contributions to the Apache OpenOffice project are under the 
Apache 2 license (the same license OpenOffice has)
- that you will be working on Pootle (this is important because other 
translators might have started translating some files offline)

2) Send a message here l10n@openoffice.apache.org when done, so that we 
can create a Pootle account for you.

Then you will be able to login to Pootle at 
https://translate.apache.org/id/aoo40/ with your account and complete 
the translation. Please also read 
http://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html and if you need any help 
just ask again.

Welcome Joshua Kenny. I am another translator working on Tamil. Your
request will be considered by the moderators of this mailing list. I am
older than you by just less than 4 times. You will enjoy your stay. You may
be the youngest volunteer here.

I am from Tamil Nadu, India. Culturally there are lot of connection between
Tamil Nadu and your country. More than 1000 years backs our people visited
your area and spread the culture. Correct me if I am wrong. (History is
taught wrongly in many places in the world)
