1.1 WAR no longer contains log4j

I noticed that the 1.1 WAR no longer contains a log4j.jar. Is this
intentional ? If so what's the reason for removing ?

I could have sworn that we removed all the log4j dependencies. Are you still
seeing something that depends on it?
