[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-7194) Modification of rrd_cached_dir for Ganglia

Gwenael Le Barzic created AMBARI-7194:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Modification of rrd_cached_dir for Ganglia
                 Key: AMBARI-7194
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-7194
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: stacks
    Affects Versions: 1.6.0
         Environment: Hortonworks 2.1.3
Ambari 1.6.0
            Reporter: Gwenael Le Barzic

Hello !

There is a problem with Ganglia in Ambari 1.6.0 and an Hadoop cluster HDP 2.1.3.

I modified the parameter "Ganglia rrdcached base directory" in Ambari.
Even after a restart of this component in Ambari the RRD files of Ganglia are still using the same old paths for the RRD files.

When I looked in /etc/ganglia/hdp/gmetad.conf, the paragraph for this path is still commented.
#-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Where gmetad stores its round-robin databases
# default: "/var/lib/ganglia/rrds"
# rrd_rootdir "/some/other/place"

Best regards.

Gwenael Le Barzic
