The default cache `/tmp/tracker-stats-cache` is outside the sandbox's writable paths, so a sandboxed run cannot write it, and the fetch scripts' `gh` calls need the sandbox exclusion anyway. Separately, a transient `HTTP 502` on the first issue-list call aborts the whole run with exit 1 rather than retrying.
Suggest defaulting the cache under the session scratch / `$TMPDIR`, and a short retry with backoff on 5xx in `fetch_issues.py`.

Hi! I'd be interested in contributing to this issue.
I can investigate the default cache path under the secure sandbox setup and update it to use an appropriate writable temporary directory.
I'd also like to add bounded retry logic with backoff for transient HTTP 5xx failures in `fetch_issues.py`, while ensuring non-retryable errors are handled appropriately.
I'll include relevant regression tests and run the available checks before submitting a PR.
Is this issue available for me to work on?
