[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-6438) Migrate to twitter4j 3.0.x as Twitter
API 1.0 will be retired next week
Charles Moulliard created CAMEL-6438:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Migrate to twitter4j 3.0.x as Twitter API 1.0 will be retired next week
Key: CAMEL-6438
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-6438
Project: Camel
Issue Type: Bug
Components: camel-twitter
Affects Versions: 2.11.0, 2.10.4, 2.9.7
Reporter: Charles Moulliard
I have experienced strange issues this week with twitter polling consumer when doing search (twitter://search?type=polling&delay=5&keywords=java) - Empty results. According to Yazuka Yamamoto (twitter4j project), this issue is due to the fact that Twiter API 1.0 will be retired end of this week (https://dev.twitter.com/blog/planning-for-api-v1-retirement) and we must migrate to Twitter 4J 3.0.1.
