There is a bit more nuance to scanner timeouts than is covered in [https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#config_timeouts]. As of HBASE-28085, one can enable a config to have similar semantics between AsyncTable and Table, and prepare for 3.0 release. We should improve these docs a bit.
