The exec command with pwd seems buggy. For example #exec cmd="pwd" gives no output but #exec cmd="cd..; pwd;" seems to work fine.

#exec cmd="ls" works but "cd ..; ls;" produces no output

There are no errors logged but the behavior seems erratic.
