I'm seeing a problem that *may* be related to this, on Mac OS X 10.1.2 (which is partly BSD based).

I've got xerces-c-src1_6_0, and invoked runConfigure as follows:

./runConfigure -p macosx -ccc -xcc

I get the following errors at the link stage. I've seen reports in the list of successful builds on 10.1.2, so I'm not sure what is happening in my case.

_strnicmp__FPCcn1Ui
/usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed
make[1]: *** [/usr/local/src/xerces-c-src1_6_0/lib/libxerces-c1_6_0.dylib] Error 1
make[1]: Target `ALL' not remade because of errors.
