Re: About tomcat3.1

Tortora, you can find more information on the tomcat-apache.conf in
doc/uguide/tomcat_ug.html. Can you let us know more specifics on what
problems you may be having?

I'm forwarding your note onto the tomcat-user mailing list. Perhaps
someone there has access to a Solaris machine and can take a look into your
problem.

Subject: About tomcat3.1

Hi rubys.

Are you sure that tomcat-apache.conf works properly ?

I didn't read anything about this file but I guess it should be used
instead
of tomcat.conf to include into httpd.conf.
If it is true i think this file is note generated properly.

Theres is another problem related to the 'post' method of http protocol.
Using tomact stand alone as web server I can use the post method without
any
problem, but if I use it just as the jsp engine from apache I cannnot use
the post method. I mean I don't see anymore the parameters passed thorough.
This problem is present only on solaris, do you have the solution, do you
think it will be solved soon ?

Thanks,

Paolo.
