edit and reserverd edit cvs commands

Hello!

I've found similar question posted one year ago (Thu, 30 Oct 2003)
but I'm not sure when this feature can be implemented.

'Edit' and Check editors - is quite important in my company
cause we frequently use edit marks and check editors information
(and discuss what changes we are doing at the same time on the file).

'Reserved edit' - is important when we are working on
delicate files such as *.rc or binary files which cannot
be easily merged and should not be edited by two developers
at the same time.

/terms in '' are taken from wincvs/

Lack of these features is main reason why I cannot
force using SVN (we are actually use CVS of course)...

Should we wait to 1.2 version? Will be non-locking 'edit'
implemented with the locking one (called reserved checkout
on the Roadmap).
