   Note to reviewers / follow-up on my side: patch coverage is still short of the 100% gate, so I'll add tests to hit the remaining lines. Also the feature-flag guard is currently applied to the single-object GET but not the list endpoint, so behavior is inconsistent when the flag is off; I'll apply it to the list path too. Will re-request once both are in and CI is green.
