[jira] [Commented] (HTTPCORE-400) ContentType.equals & hashCode are
not implemented

Volodymyr Kyrychenko commented on HTTPCORE-400:
-----------------------------------------------
Michael, it will not allow to reliably use it with java collections, java serialiazation, unit tests, deep cloning or defining constants. Which was the whole point. Im not suggesting undetstanding semantics like text/plain vs text/plain;charset. Just structural comparison with regard of rfc suggested best practice. Now there is no even not verybest implementation like mono has, but it is useful at some point. Today this class has nothing useful enough to comply even with some cases. i see no viable case comparing it by ref at all.
