Log client port in case of Socket/Connection timeout exceptions

Folks,

We are trying to debug Socket and Connection timeouts to our downstream and one of the requirement is to log client port to trace tcp packets. If anyone has tried that before could you please let me know how to achieve that ? I have not tried out http wire log because in this case I only need client port in case of exceptions.

Appreciate any pointers.
