Dear all ,
i am sorry for posting these error's i have got , i know it might be basics for derby and java , but i need help in that :)
when i tried to run :
java java org.apache.derby.drda.NetworkServerControl start
from the derby.source/clasess
i get the error
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/derby/drda/NetworkServerControl
also do i need to update my kernel ?

If you need help getting started with Derby, I suggest looking at the Getting Started manual on the website:

Also, if you are looking for general help using Derby, the best way to find it is to post to the derby-user mailing list. There are probably more people reading the derby-user mailing list than are reviewing newly submitted bugs and you will likely find quicker responses to your questions.
