I'd really appreciate any extra eyes I could get on this stuff -- at the
code level is fine (great, even), but even just some adhoc testing would be
appreciated.  If/as you test these results, keep in mind that the failure
case that spawned the issue was only triggered when running 'svnrdump dump'
with a revision range (that didn't start with r0) and *not* in incremental
mode.  That's the only time 'svnrdump dump' invokes the wonky ra_serf
"update" logic.  Thanks!
