It seems that most of the mojos from the {{slingfeature-maven-plugin}} require the plugin to be declared with an {{<extensions>true</extensions>}} block.

If that is not present goals will not work as expected, e.g. the {{repository}} goal will just output nothing.

I suggest that goal invocations for which extensions are required issue a warnings or outright fail, to make it obvious that they are used incorrectly.
