[jira] [Commented] (DIRSTUDIO-825) The keyboard shortcut ctrl-shift-(plus) does not add new attribute

Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRSTUDIO-825:
-------------------------------------------

It depends on the used keyboard layout. When I choosed the shortcuts I had a German keyboard layout, there the '+' is a 'lower' character and can be typed without 'shift', there ctrl-plus and shift-ctrl-plus work. But on US keyboard the '+' is a upper character and requires shift anyway, the shortcuts don't make sense there. Choosing '+' as shortcut was a bad choice, I think we need to find a better shortcut that is independent from keyboard layout. Any suggestions?

> Hallo,
> in the record editor, there is item "new attribute" in the context menu with short cut shift-ctrl-(plus). If I try this shortcut, it creates new value (instead of new attribute) for selected attribute (sameway as ctrl-(plus) does) if some attribute is selected and it does nothing if no attribute is selected.
> Could you please look at this functionality? It would be nice if this works too.
> Thank you very much.
> Regards,
> Robert Wolf.
