PDFBox 1.8.x vs. 2.0.x?

Does anyone know the main difference between PDFBox 1.8.x and 2.0.x? Thanks.

2.0 is of better quality: colors, fonts, acroform, parser, preflight and
API have been improved. There is no need to use 1.8 if you're starting a
project. Migration from existing projects is easy (there's a guide)
unless you've extended our classes.
