Just a quick note that this looks good to me, and I intend to merge
it. However things aren't quite sorted yet, and we're still trying to
figure things out. Thanks to Mohammad we now have a ASF-hosted git
repo, but none of us have ASF accounts yet (to my knowledge anyway),
and given the current pace is ~50-70 commits per week, we haven't yet
moved everything over, which leaves us in a bit of limbo. I didn't
want you to think that we weren't acknowledging the patches. We'd also
welcome patches for some of the items you pointed out in other
threads.
