[jira] Created: (MJAVADOC-43) Unable to use overview - Javadoc
bombs
Unable to use overview - Javadoc bombs
--------------------------------------
Key: MJAVADOC-43
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJAVADOC-43
Project: Maven 2.x Javadoc Plugin
Type: Bug
Reporter: Chris Hagmann
If I use the overview parameter to specify a overview.html (e.g. src/main/java/overview.html) then Maven fails and complains about the missing overview file.
I tried then to set it using: ${basedir}/src/main/java/overview.html), and this still fails (at least on Windows) because the plugin doesn't convert the \ correctly before invoking the javadoc command.

---------------------------------------
After applying patch in MJAVADOC-19, the execution succeeds when using:
<overview>${basedir}/src/main/java/overview.html</overview>
