C2: regexp can't match underscores?

In my sitemap, I am using regexp matching to access my xml documents. 
The match that is giving me problems looks like this:

([a-zA-Z0-9_\-]*)

or I've also tried this:

([a-zA-Z0-9\_\-]*)

Neither one seems to work if there is an underscore in the string. If 
there is a different/better way to do this, I'd love to see it. Thanks!
