XSLTC translet compile error: Error checking type of the expression

Hi,

When compiling a style sheet

java org.apache.xalan.xsltc.cmdline.Compile -j docbook.jar docbook.xsl

Compiler errors:
  Error checking type of the expression 'org.apache.xalan.xsltc.compiler.ApplyTemplates@15db314'

How do I track down the error expression in the style sheet?
Any help would be appreciated.
