[jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-1102) Add support for PowerShell Remoting Protocol

--------------------------------------

Hi,

+1 for me regarding remote powershell.

It's not always possible in controlled and hardened environments to implement SSH on Windows especially knowing that core systems are quite often also sensible systems (Like DCs)

Remote PowerShell would really be quite useful :)

Thanks a lot for this great product!

> PowerShell provides its own remoting protocol layered on top of WinRM. Similar to Guacamole's existing support for SSH and telnet, support should be added for establishing PowerShell connections to Windows servers.
> Implementing may depend on a PSRP client library materializing somewhere in the open source community. Until such a library exists, it's unlikely to be practical to implement the needed support, and users needing access to PowerShell on Windows servers via Guacamole should leverage SSH instead.
