I've installed the new version of the M2 Eclipse Plugin and get a linkage error now. The console stops and the thread is frozen somehow.
[ERROR] org.apache.maven.plugin.eclipse.EclipsePlugin#execute() caused a linkage error (java.lang.VerifyError) and may be out-of-date. Check the realms:
[ERROR] Plugin realm = /plugins/org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-eclipse-plugin:2.5-SNAPSHOT@48/thread:main
Please the full console output in the attached file.
Would be nice to have the eclipse plugin 2.5 working in eclipse with M2 plugin in the future. It's working fine in the command prompt and mvn.

I've found a workaround. I've defined an external Maven Installation and it's working fine now.
