[jira] Created: (DIRSERVER-848) The server fails to handle subtree specification membership references in entries upon entry modifications

The server fails to handle subtree specification membership references in entries upon entry modifications
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: DIRSERVER-848
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-848
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: core
    Affects Versions: 1.0, 1.5.0
            Reporter: Ersin Er
         Assigned To: Ersin Er
             Fix For: 1.0.1, 1.5.0

As we extended the capabilities of subtreeSpecifications to be able to specify any LDAP filter in it, now we have a bigger issue than we have in DIRSERVER-784. This issue extends DIRSERVER-784 beyond objectClass attribute to any attribute in entries.

[jira] Updated: (DIRSERVER-848) The server fails to handle subtree specification membership references in entries upon entry modifications

Ersin Er updated DIRSERVER-848:
-------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: (was: 1.0.1)

This issue does not apply to 1.x branch as we do not support LDAP filters in subtreeSpecifications in 1.x branch but in 1.5. However it has been fixed in trunks.
