[jira] [Commented] (MESOS-3368) Add device support in cgroups
abstraction
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-3368?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15149000#comment-15149000 ]
Abhishek Dasgupta commented on MESOS-3368:
------------------------------------------
So, there might be two methods that write device.deny file and device.allow file. And another two method to find if a particular device is allowed under any cgroup and denied under any cgroup. Do you have any design doc for this issue? If not, then I would prepare one. Anyone there to shepherd this issue? I would be very much interested to work on this issue.

> Add support for [device cgroups|https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/cgroup-v1/devices.txt] to aid isolators controlling access to devices.
> In the future, we could think about how to numerate and control access to devices as resource or task/container policy
