[jira] Commented: (INFRA-1683) jiraissues macro doesn't work, we need to upgrade confluence or install the latest version of the jiraissues plugin

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1683?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12615961#action_12615961 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-1683:
------------------------------

Confluence is earmarked for upgrade to the latest version, not sure when that will occur , hopefully soon.

In the meantime I can replace the JAR as indicated, I am loath to do it during popular hours in (the likely) case that some folks are editing or creating pages. So I propose to replace the JAR this Sunday 27th July at around 1300 to 1500 AEST.

Any problems or objections ?

> I raised this issue with Atlassian...
> about the jiraissues macro not rendering icons properly - e.g. see this example page
> http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/ACTIVEMQ/ActiveMQ+5.1.0+Release
> but it turns out we're suffering from the JIRA 3.7 Link Format Change issue (see the table near the bottom of this page)
> so we need to either upgrade to 2.2.10 or later of confluence - or install the latest JIRA plugin for confluence
> http://confluence.atlassian.com/download/attachments/393/new-jira3.jar?version=1
> I tried upgrading the plugin myself but I don't think I can via the UI
> Many thanks!
