Just one note from your Incubator Sheperd (TM):

IRC can damage a community if all discussions are done there instead of
the mailing list. Remember that timezones impact greatly the possibility
of some developers to take part, and also it's difficult to see threads
there.

So please remember that IRC has to be used as sparingly as possible, and
when it's used, always post a summary on the list or, if it was just
problem solving, add the info in the site docs or FAQ.

Fast communication is good, but if used badly it can do a lot of harm
and not let the project expand beyond the ones that go on IRC.

Thanks :-)
