 This is LOG4J2-954 which has a workaround with [a 3rd party shade transformer|https://github.com/edwgiz/maven-shaded-log4j-transformer].

In addition, on Java 9+, LOG4J2-2537 happens - a warning that can be ignored but nice if it didn't happen.
