how to determine paragraph numbering using HWPF

I've successfully compiled and used the HWPF code to extract the text from word
documents.  Has anybody successfully retrieved bullet or numbering information
for a section or paragraph? I'm just converting word documents to simple text,
but I need to include the paragraph numbers so that it comes out like an
outline.
