How can i get a free download with the Vista operating system

The windows download from (only from)
www.openoffice.org/dowload
will run on Vista.
Note that this site will redirect you to SourceForge servers where the files are stored. Your download will start automatically in 5-10 seconds, with no need to click on anything else (read: DO NOT CLICK on anything else).
Should you find that you later need Java, this must be a 32 bit Java. If using a 64 bit operating system you must download and install a 32 bit Java from www.java.com (32 bit will have 586 in its filename). You must then select this in OpenOffice /Tools /Options /OpenOffice : Java.
The 32 bit Java will run alongside 64 bit Java if you are using a 64 bit operating system.
