[jira] [Closed] (INFRA-11601) OpenOffice Github mirror outdated

Daniel Gruno closed INFRA-11601.
--------------------------------
    Resolution: Unresolved
      Assignee: Daniel Gruno

This is not an issue we can resolve at present, as it is a bug in the underlying git-svn software which I frankly don't know how to fix, nor could I find a fix for this other than us fundamentally changing our entire svn setup to push configs on to the clients instead of setting it locally.

For what it's worth, the bug is that the RA Serf library chokes on very large commits and APR then in turn breaks saying it received an unknown error from the upstream server.

Until this gets fixed in the git-svn package upstream, we can't do much to help, sorry.

> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Github

> Priority: Minor
>
> The OpenOffice Github mirror is outdated. Commits from the last several weeks are missing:
> Browsing the repositories of organization "apache" I see, currently at
> https://github.com/apache?page=20
> (it may shift a bit forward with time) that all other repositories have a special icon and a notice saying "mirrored from git://git.apache.org/synapse.git" or similar. OpenOffice does not.
> May this be the cause? Is there a way to fix it? I assume that
> https://github.com/apache/openoffice
> is under control of Infra, but if the project can do something just please let us know.
> Note: I didn't check if git://git.apache.org/openoffice.git is outdated too. The issue might be there and not on Github.
