[jira] Updated: (ADFFACES-169) client side validation: add client side validateLength

Posted by "Adam Winer (JIRA)" <ad...@incubator.apache.org>.

Adam Winer updated ADFFACES-169:
--------------------------------

    Priority: Minor (was: Major)

This is generally not deeply useful because of the maxlength property... in an ideal world, this'd be handled not by attaching a client-side validator, but by actually setting the maxlength of an input type=text (and doing appropriate magic for TEXTAREA too).
