Moving towards the 1.5.0 release

All,

I was poking around this weekend trying to figure out what we still have 
on the plate to finish for the 1.5.0 release.

I thought a list of all non-resolved issues marked for 1.5.0 would be 
useful for everyone. We can begin to pare down this list until the last 
issue is the "tag 1.5.0" issue.

Hope this is helpful to others. Also, I would've made a filter with a 
nicer permalink, but I couldn't figure out how to make the filter public.
