[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-4992) Add jackson as data format to allow
people to easily configure jackson for json
Add jackson as data format to allow people to easily configure jackson for json
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CAMEL-4992
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-4992
Project: Camel
Issue Type: New Feature
Reporter: Claus Ibsen
Fix For: Future
Currently jackson for json is available as the generic <json> data format. We should @deprecated the <json> and let people use the specialized such as <xstream> or <jackson> so they chose the json engine of choice.
Then we can offer jackson specific options to be configured, like we have for xstream.
