Validator's sucks ??

Hi all,

Mark says : "Validator's suck". I don't understand exactly why.
I find, Validator is very useful. Is there a reason for do not use 
Validator ?

What do you think about that ?

I'm not a struts guru but I can tell you I have coded
in php and only did simple validation with alot of trouble.
Now I use struts validation and get expert validation with
no trouble at all!
