I can not run Tomcat in my machine

Hi there,

I am just begin exploring the
Jakarta project ......

I downloaded the tomcat 3.0 and
installed in my window 95 system.
When started it from DOS command
line, a second window shows:

Tomcat web server version 3.0
loaded configuration from file:
c:\tomcat\server.xml

after a while, this second window
disappered. But the server seems not
work at all, since any connection to
the local server are declined.

What could be wrong ?
