How Can I browse the current directory?

Dear All,

How can I browse the current diectory?

I try to this to browse the current directory of my webpage 
getMethod(){

File obj = new File("");
return obj.getAbsolutePath();

}

But it return 
C:\\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28\\bin

Not my expected value:
C:\\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28\\webapps\\Tapestryweb\\
