Error adding XCP host in CS 4.2
Hello,
I have fresh install of CS 4.2. Adding host to the cluster gives me “Internal server error”. In the logs I can see these messages:

What CS is looking for?? I have Host server installed as Debian + XCP-XAPI instead on typical XCP1.6 install. Can this be a problem?

I forgot about CLOUDSTACK-534, see the link that Sailaja sent you, you just need to add that plugin I believe

Sebastien,
I read this article many times during past 2 months :) . I have 4 hosts setup as Debian + XCP-XAPI and from command line they work very well. I host all my management infrastructure on one of them and the rest 3 I'm going to use as hosts for CS. No errors or non-conformities regarding XCP-XAPI. I think there is some utility that is missing (not necessary belonging to CS or XCP). But I don't know which one.

Vladim, I did this some time back. xapi setup on debian or ubuntu system is non-trivial (at least to me), there are lots of little tricks to do:
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/XAPI_toolstack_on_a_Debian-based_distribution
I'd suggest you go through the wiki page and make sure xapi is setup properly. I don't think it's a cloudstack issue per se.

Hi,
Can you check if your issue is similar to the ticket @ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-534
