help the nub.
Hello all.
I am trying to start using Jmeter but it is not making it easy. I need to stress load a Sybase DB server for work and I keep getting this error
Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Login failed)
I have looked around but nothing conclusive.
Any help will be appreciated.

There can be a lot of reasons for this. Have you checked, that you are
using the correct credentials? Are you sure, that the JDBC-URL is
correct? (Maybe your DB admins can check it?)
In the file jmeter.log should be a more detailed error message, it might
help, if you post that, too (remove/mask any confidential stuff in those
error message).

Issue Resolved.
Sybase driver was needed.
Added Jconn4.rar to \lib
URL: jdbc:sybase:Tds:<server>:<port>\<dbname>
Class: com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDriver
Tha allowed me to connect to the DB and run tests.
I hope this helps someone else.
