We need to close our issues first and finish our refactoring work.
We have not discussed it deeply at the moment, but my mind is usually thinking: "somewhere by autumn or beginning winter this year".
Please join up the mailinglist if you want to discuss this in detail or have an opinion about what to include or not - you're welcome.

Thats true Gavin.
I think we'll need not all issues urgently. After those less are fixed and we are sure about the api we might think on a release. I think i like the idea :-)

Gavin commented on LOG4PHP-72:
------------------------------
My thinking is we need to get to a happy stable-ish trunk and then go ahead and make a release. I'll be around to help and users and other developers will need to be also to help with testing Release Candidates, last minute bug squashing etc. But at the end of the day as the most active committer in the project, Christian has the call, but lets not wait until all Jira Issues are resolved or we'll be here forever :)
