first look on updated svn

hi,

i just took a quick look into the updated svn. hey thats already a small
starting point :-)

I can put my stuff in org.apache.ws.eventing and then we can build step
by step an api for both in org.apache.ws.pubsub
another package could contain one subscription
management/filtering(YFilter) backend for both impls.

But there is a really ugly problem IMHO. its about WS-Addressing. I'm
using apache/ws-fx/addressing Handlers for WS-Eventing cause its the
impl from August 2004, which is required by latest WS-Eventing.
But my latest WS-N spec does not use August 2004 version, instead it
demands feb.2003 ws-addressing.

any ideas?

stefan

Yes, I tried to start framing out the interfaces and the build scripts.
I'll flesh it out a bit more over the next few days.

I like it. The YFilter stuff can go under pubsub too, since it will be
shared by WSN and WS-E.

Yes, even though the latest WSN drafts have moved up to the 08/2004 WS-A,
this will be an issue, since MUWS 1.0 uses WSN 1.2, which uses the 03/2003
WS-A. So I think we'll need to support both versions of WS-A. This
shouldn't be too hard. We'll create interfaces for the WS-A types and then
have impls for the various versions. This has actually been on my todo
list for a while. Maybe I'll attack it this week.

Note, we'll also eventually need to support multiple versions of WSN too,
since MUWS 1.0 depends on WSN 1.2, but we'll also want to support WSN 1.3
once it comes out early next year.

Regards,
Ian
