Heya @lucapazz, looking closer, the null-vs-zero and de-dup work I asked for in my last two comments is already here, sorry for the runaround. What's actually blocking this now is the conflict with `master`, since #38579 and #41976 landed the sort fix separately. I'll take the rebase myself and push it here.
