Are traffic is not what's causing the lagtime, I think
it's our xml application. We are using a lot of
included files...each page you view is made up of (5)
separate xml files, and (5) separate stylesheets.

IBM's JDK was extremely fast in serving up our pages,
much faster than Blackdown. However, IBM would crash
after about 5 or 6 requests.

our current enviro is linux, jserv, blackdown jdk, &
apache. We will be switching to solaris soon, so
hopefully Sun or IBM's JDK environments will be much
faster on Solaris than they are on Linux.
