+<p>Apache Aries delivers a set of pluggable Java components enabling an enterprise OSGi application programming model.</p>
+<h2 id="releases">Releases</h2>
+<p>Several release vote threads during the last three months saw the release of 88 bundles at version 1.0. These can be found from the <a href="http://aries.apache.org/downloads/currentrelease.html">downloads link on the Aries home page</a>. Subsequently, the following micro version update bundles have been released:</p>

+<h2 id="community-update">Community update</h2>
+<p>Jeremias Maerki has proposed, and posted a patch for, an addition to the spi-fly module called SPI Catcher. Its objective is along the lines of the OSGi Connect work in the OSGi Alliance to make it easier to get started with OSGi dynamic services technology. The SPI Catch approach is complementary by introducing OSGi APIs much later, if at all, ensuring "runnability totally outside of OSGi" is preserved.</p>
+<p>No new committers since the last report. The user/dev lists and JIRAs have had some varied discussions across the Aries modules.</p>
